The horn spring buttons push down and retract nicely. The chrome is very shinny.

However, the contact and wire ends have rust as shown in my pictures. You are buying on a 1967 Chevelle Malibu el Camino Nova Ss deluxe steering wheel horn ring. This horn ring is original and oem in very nice condition.
