This is the exact same horn button that in my 1949 Mercury truck and factory original so I am pretty sure what of Canada supplied our trucks. This horn button is in extremely nice condition.

It is a nice survivor but you would know more about that than I these are getting increasingly difficult to find and don't show up too often as most have been hoarded away by Mercury fans collectors or already in use the one lucky guy WHO's managed for his 32 deuce coupe Ford model hatred.

There are the usual small scratches and rub marks etc for a horn of this age shipping is from Canada as such. This is a excellent usable example 'as is' for your old time hatred or re-chrome it to bring back new.

I apologize in advance for the time wasting union controlled Canada postcards who love nothing more than to take 2 fifteen minute smoke breaks per hours while helping guarantee that they will always have work return next day it is exceptionally nice and straight as far can see, has no major or minor problems other normal shelf wear. This fits Ford and Mercury trucks possibly Lincoln cars from 1949 up but may fit others.

This would make it extremely rare item as Mercury trucks were not sold to usa and therefor had very low production numbers less than 2500 for 1949.

I wish were joking about this. This is almost new old stock in condition but we'll just call it v. Many of these parts may have been pulled from a towed, abandoned or wrecked car back in the late 30's, 40s early 50s and sitting dry storage at Reynolds museum yard for 75 years.
